Market Research for EdTech Companies Funded by the Varkey Foundation

Starting in July 2017, Learn More began supporting the Varkey Foundation by carrying out primary and secondary research for EdTech companies that were partnering with the Foundation to deliver innovative curricula and educational apps in emerging markets. As part of this work, Learn More carried out extensive interviews with education policy experts in 7 global markets, and interviewed 50 teachers in UK schools to determine learning needs and test curricula . Topics covered included how various curricula could be adapted to local contexts practices, and how they would interact with the surrounding policy environment.

As part of the market research, Learn More created a dashboard tool that enables rapid comparisons of key quantitative trends. The analysis was presented to the CEOs of the EdTech companies. Learn More continued to collaborate with the Varkey Foundation on other projects.
