Summative Evaluation of GPE’s Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic

In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted education for millions of children, amplifying existing learning gaps, especially for the most vulnerable, and posing a dramatic burden on learning systems all over the world. In the early onset of the pandemic, the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) immediately established $500M in grant facilities to support system-wide and scaled-up mechanisms. Learn More, TripleLine and Technopolis have been tasked by GPE to assess the efficiency, effectiveness, coherence, and sustainability of the GPE interventions in capacity building, knowledge exchange, and systems strengthening. Learn More leads the research team and is responsible for providing evidence and best practices for future crisis response and ensuring a gender-responsive approach while conducting the research.
